Scope Of Work
This renovation is a gut and fit-out out of a 3-story, 70,000 square foot building for an ophthalmic medical device and pharmaceutical company. The project is located at 15 Crosby Drive in the Crosby Corporate Center in Bedford, Massachusetts where Erland previously completed an office build-out for Covidien. Partnering with architect TRIA Inc., Erland is conducting work in a partially occupied environment. After a lengthy permit process, a complete gut of all three floors will be conducted. The client is currently occupying two clean rooms and a lab on the building’s third floor. Erland was required to procure a certificate of occupancy for this space, build temporary partitions, and identify a life safety plan with a safe means of egress. When complete the building will house six new ISO 7 and 8 cleanrooms offices, and lab space. Erland is also installing a new 250 KW optional standby gas-fired generator
