Scope Of Work
EMD Serono Inc. has partnered with Erland Construction on their first project; a phased renovation of their Billerica office/lab space. The building remained occupied throughout construction. The first phase, an interior lab expansion, was completed in just 2-months. Phase 2 consisted of the relocation of an existing lab to a new space. During the final phase, new ISO-7&8 cleanroom space was constructed and the existing penthouse space was retrofitted to support custom HVAC installation along with an air-cooled chiller replacement. All phases of work and shutdowns had been sequenced and coordinated with minimal disruption to company operations.
