Scope Of Work
This Wawa store has a unique design that includes the exterior façade to match similar finishes used on the newly constructed buildings on the former site of the Granite Run Mall. The challenge of this store was the matching of the unique features of the building. We coordinated weekly meetings with the project management team from Wawa Convenience Stores and the architect to ensure all of the exterior treatments met the expectations of the ownership of the new shopping center.
This store is the second in the Pennsylvania market to offer beer and wine sales. The store features a walk-in cooler for cases of beer and doors with bottle and can racks to service the customer. Since the Pennsylvania liquor license law requires a certain amount of seating to be available for any retail store selling food and alcohol, the store also features a small seating area to have a meal and a beverage.
