Scope Of Work

Boldt's scope of work included:

Over 13,500 cu. yds. of cast in place concrete formed and poured

Installing a cellular cofferdam to dry-up the existing power canal

Adding a new trash track structure at the start of the power canal

Removing the existing stone power canal walls and widening the canal

Installing 3,550 ft. of new power canal retaining wall with stone veneer salvaged from the old power canal wall

Rehabilitating the existing head gates and gate hoist equipment in the canal

Decommissioning both operating hydroelectric plants on the power canal

Demolishing one of the hydroelectric plants and converting the other for alternate use

Construct a new power house for two new  turbines at 3.5 MW each hydroelectric plant in the location of the demolished plant

Removing one foot of rock off the existing tailrace below the new plant to pass additional water flow
