Scope Of Work

Skanska provided preconstruction and construction management services for this 26,000-SF, two-story freestanding emergency department. The high-visibility medical center is located on an on-ramp to the busy Interstate 71 corridor and serves as a signature brand image and public face of Mercy Health in a key location. The new facility includes cardiology offices, cardiovascular imaging, primary care physicians' space and related ancillary services. The design of the building responds to the topography of the site by allowing vehicles to enter the enclosed parking beneath the building at grade, which effectively separates staff and patients from the emergency clinic traffic.
