Scope Of Work
Site work and concrete activities commenced in November 2016 to meet the certificate of need issued by Florida’s Agency for Healthcare Construction (AHCA). The new single-story facility includes site development of an 18 acre site (storm drainage, water and sewer infrastructures); wood framed exterior walls and trusses, brick, stone, and wood siding veneer systems; and shingle roofing. Patient care bedrooms, healthcare support spaces, reception, medical records, nurses’ stations, pharmacy services, nurse call systems, rehabilitation and physical therapy services, and other spaces round out the planned healthcare services supported. Other space includes food services/dining, living and activity areas, chapel, movie theater, library, coffee bar, beauty salon, and outdoor courtyards.
