Scope Of Work
In early 2018 Canin Coatings was contracted by the City of San Diego to restore the MTS Building and Clocktower, a local landmark, to its original bold appearance. The site is a major hub of public transportation and foot traffic in the city, thus the project called for special attention to safety on several fronts and a great deal of communication and coordination to complete the project without incident, on time and under budget. The work process required extensive preparation of multiple exterior surfaces, long periods of high work on lifts, a spray application of a specialty protective polymer as well as various other efforts to restore and protect large metal surfaces around the site.
