Scope Of Work
The Upper Sand Creek Basin Restoration project is a major part of the Regional Flood Protection Plan for Contra Costa County. To provide the hard armoring necessary to prevent severe soil erosion, the County selected Basalite's articulated concrete block mats for ther important project.
In the Tracy, California plant, Basalite manufactured 102,000 sf of concrete block and shipped 362 completed mats to the jobsite. The project was completed in fall 2013.
