Scope Of Work
Located on the beautiful Klamath River in picturesque Klamath, California, the Klamath Town site Boat Ramp Reconstruction Project addressed a badly damaged recreation area. Approximately 4,800 sf. of Submar articulated concrete block mats, manufactured by Basalite, were installed by Steelhead Constructors of Redding. The 4 1/2 inch tall M4540 blocks were chosen by Stover Engineering to protect the sensitive shoreline of the Klamath just before it discharges into the Pacific Ocean. Installed in the fall of 2011, the boat ramp is now open for all to enjoy.
