Scope Of Work
Old Dominion Firestopping provided firestopping at all through-penetrations as well as smoke and acoustical sealants for medical gas piping on the 80,000-square-foot addition and renovation to an existing hospital.
Due to project phasing, multiple mobilizations occurred and close coordination between the trades was key to the project success.
Completed in 2014, the project finished on time with zero injuries. Old Dominion Firestopping contracted with Marathon Electric, L Pugh Fire Protection, Pevco and Comfort Systems USA to perform the work. JE Dunn was the general contractor.
