Scope Of Work

AIDC was tasked with:

• Checking Sub-Grade for smoothness and make level at a 2 to 1 slope,
• Cleaning soil build up in the shadows of the piers,
• The installation of approximately 258,000.sq ft of cast-in-place articulating fabric form block mats,
• The Installation of 2,000 - 1.25" x 6' DYWIDAG Thread Bars,
• Connecting each mat to the corresponding Thread Bar,
• Zippered mats together in between each pile,
• Jetted a 2' deep trench at the toe of each mat,
• Placed grout into approx.102 fabric forms on a 2 to1 slope under the pier, and
• Grouted the gaps around the base of each pile.

The duration of this project was 450 days, with 8 crews, using Nitrox diving compressors, with zero diving accidents. 

This project was completed on time and under budget.
