Scope Of Work
This 42 story mixed use building was constructed in and around a 10 story theatre building whose steel structure had to be suspended while supporting columns were erected below and adjacent to support the new building. Manhattan Land Surveying & Engineering provided layout and monitoring services for the initial operation, as well as monitoring of the subway tunnel adjacent to the site. The 6 story retail podium supports one of the world’s largest LED billboards below the 450 room hotel tower. MLSE provided layout of axis lines and benchmarks as well as floor slab deviation surveys.
