Scope Of Work
This 82 story reinforced concrete tower is 1050 feet tall, making it the eighth tallest building (just overtopping the Chrysler Building and the New York Times Tower) in New York City. The façade is distinguished by its diagrid structure, the diagonally criss-crossing of normally vertical concrete columns at the tower's perimeter. The$1 billion project will have 145 condominium units ranging from one to five bedrooms. Manhattan Land Surveying & Engineering verified existing axis line and benchmarks and proceeded to locate and monitor the walls of adjoining buildings, as well as establish baselines to monitoring the exterior hoist. Field crews laid out axis lines and performed as-built surveys on the elevator shafts and each floor slab as the building was erected. The building is scheduled to be ready for occupancy in late 2019.
