Description

Kings County Medical Center is a NYC public hospital located in East Flatbush, Brooklyn, NY. Built in 1831, they now have 627 beds for their patients. They use cutting edge technology and the most modern procedures with state-of-the-art equipment. In 2019, American Heart Association awarded them the Gold Plus award for stroke guidelines in their hospital. The hospital began a modernization program to include new towers and treatment centers. The elevator modernization project began in November 2010 and finished in 2017.

CBA provided full elevator modernization; design, engineering and construction management for a total of 10 passenger and freight elevators, both traction and hydraulic. Services include: specifications for modernization, full elevator service maintenance contract, shop drawings review, construction administration services, and project close-out.
