Scope Of Work
This project is located on Poplar Island at Spillway 1, Talbot County, Maryland. The primary goal of this project was to complete the following modifications to Spillway 1:
a) Raising the existing catwalk structure by 8' 6";
b) Slip lining two of the existing discharge CMP located at the Spillway with SnapTite HDPE pipe and Grout Annular space underwater;
c) Demolish two existing steel structures;
d) Cap/seal the T-weir pipe connecting to Spillway 1;
e) Plugging (capping/filling in) of three existing Spillway structures (#'s 3, 7, and 10).
