Scope Of Work
Project included the demolition of a 362' x 50' wide concrete deck located below an existing pier deck. Timber pile supports were cut to 5' below the mean-low water line, thus creating an approximate 362' x 50' wide aquatic habitat comprised of the demolished concrete in the same footprint as the removed deck. During the demo operations, the contractor placed the broken concrete deck on the bottom of the harbor with a minimum of 5' clearance around the steel piles of the heliport pier. This clearance will permit further inspection and maintenance of the steel piles.
All work was performed in accordance with Wetlands License No. 14-0720.
