Scope Of Work
Project consisted of relocating the dock manifold downstream a distance that is equal to the distance that the downstream edge of the bridge is shifting. The scope of relocation work includes, but is not limited to: the supply and installation of thirteen 12" diameter steel pipe piles plumb;supply and installation of three 12" diameter steel pipe piles battered; supply and installation of eight 14" diameter steel pie piles battered; dynamic pile testing and restrike; construction of two each upstream and downstream mooring dolphins, supply and installation of two each steel framing and installation of owner supplied mooring bollard; installation of two each owner supplied fender systems; installation of piping from the manifold location to shore; and installation of lights on the walkway.
An MTI marine survey crew will perform the pre-construction side scan sonar, and when construction is completed and prior to demobilization a post-construction scan will be performed to document any changes or debris. MTI will remove all underwater debris deemed by the owner to pose a threat to navigation.
