Scope Of Work

This project was located in fourteen counties throughout Maryland. The contract was for paving the invert, restoration of, and making miscellaneous repairs to various structures throughout the state.  The work consisted of the following: paving the invert of all structures in accordance with the contract drawings, including filling voids at pipe ends and other areas when specified on the plans; installing grout bags; installing Class l and ll RIPRAP for slope and scour protection; filling undermined and eroded areas of structure with grout; repairing/replacing existing headwalls, wingwalls, footings, manholes, inlets and other drainage structures with grout, trowel grade mortar or cast-in-place concrete; restoring deteriorated areas of pipe with galvanized structural steel plate; repairing and replacing noise wall access doors; encasing existing utility pipe with reinforced grout; providing, installing and maintaining all erosion and sediment control devices; providing, installing and maintaining all maintenance of traffic standards and devices; cleaning and removing all debris from confined spaces; providing, fabricating and installing reinforcing steel cages to match the contour of the existing structures.
