Scope Of Work
Project involved the placement of scour countermeasures around the center pier of the bridge. Work included placement of geotextile, placement and filling of grout bags around the undermined center pier, pumping of grout into the cavity directly underneath the center pier, placement of temporary traffic road signs, and the installation of riprap. Gabion mattresses were redesigned by MTI which saved DelDOT approximately $284K.
