Scope Of Work
Located in the Untermyer Gardens, Temple of the Sky is without a doubt one of the places to be when visiting Yonkers, NY. The central feature of the lower terrace of the Walled Garden is the ziggurat-shaped Persian Pool, which was once a swimming pool for the Samuel Untermyer family. The Untermyer Gardens Conservancy, a nonprofit organization in partnership with the City of Yonkers, is facilitating the restoration of this nature’s wonder.
Project details: Patching pointing, replace marble stone, new stonework, repair of the Corinthian Columns, dutchman repairs/installation, and steel supports.
