Scope Of Work
Harrah’s site includes a 100,000 SF gaming hall and horse race track. The riverfront site construction included special headwalls with tide gates to prevent the inflow of tidal waters. Track construction included importing 12,000 tons of screening, from Maryland, and 42,000 SY Geo-textile was placed under the track. Construction included installation of drainage, sewers, water mains, two meter-pits, two pump-stations, several underground bores, design and installation of in river environmental turtle floats, paving and striping and 720,000 SF of hydro seeding. Harrah’s Grand Opening took place as scheduled thanks to C.Abbonizio’s timely project completion.
