Scope Of Work
Tower 180 was originally built in 1963 and purchased by Tower 180 LLC in 2017. UEI was initially hired to perform asbestos abatement of the curtain walls (window glazing/framing) from swing stages for both the Tower and Annex buildings, but due to UEI's high level of safety and quality of work our scope increased dramatically. UEI has performed full floor abatement and demolition, escalator demolition, interior and exterior asbestos and lead abatement, sawcutting/core drilling services, even assisted the GC to install new sidewalk and concrete pad for material lift. This project is a design build in which has created many challenges of constant project scope changes, daily coordination with several different trades, heavy regulatory involvement with inspections, and maintaining ZERO safety incidents throughout the project.
