Scope Of Work
Safway had been involved with contractor Whiting-Turner on five of the first eight phases of this project. A highly engineered project, Bancroft Hall demanded creative and innovative engineering and erection techniques. This project was also very demanding due to the Corp of Engineers’ high standards and the rigorous schedule that Whiting-Turner placed on the project. For Safway, this job included more than 18,000 hours of labor services, more than two million lbs. of material, 750 hours of engineering, and 200 hours of customer training. Safway provided access for restoration, waterproofing, glazing, roofing, demolition, and carpentry.
