Scope Of Work
The V.A. Bay Pines project consisted of four phases:
1. Relocating and/ or installing new underground steam, condensate and chill water supply and returns throughout the campus.
2. New construction of a warehouse and loading dock.
3. Construction of a new central energy plant that would supply one half of the campus chill water loop.
4. New construction of a five story mental health hospital that was being heated and cooled from a rooftop penthouse mechanical room.
Randall Mechanical performed all construction of this project in an occupied and working V.A. hospital environment. All operations, such as shutdowns and tying into existing hospital utilities had to be done without disruption or interference with patients and employees daily tasks.
