In the beginning of 2013, RE was awarded the contract by the Irvine Company to repair decks, walkways, siding, stucco, concrete, and roofs. The project schedule for the 13 buildings is currently set for 12 months. A unique aspect of this project was the requirement by the client to maintain constant unit access for residents. RE accomplished this by creating a unique temporary hinged plywood walkway system allowing for immediate access at any time during the walkway demo or waterproofing process. The client’s requirement to maintain resident access in combination with the aggressive schedule has allowed RE an opportunity to utilize several of our QAQC and communication tools.
