This project was an addition to the existing Animal Kingdom hotel and was therefore adjacent to a wildlife habitat, with all sorts of exotic animals, giraffes, lions, water buffalo impalas, etc. The challenges incorporated in this project were numerous. We built an over one million square foot facility adjacent to an operating hotel and adjacent to a wildlife habitat/eco-system that could not be disturbed.
The project was enormous by anyone’s standards and had the environmental challenges, not to mention the three different roof systems that were going to be tied together with extensive metal work and flashings.P & A Roofing was successful in all the different roof applications, coordination with the other tradesmen on the project and maintaining a very difficult schedule.
We are submitting this project for a tradesman award at ABC. No award has been made as submissions is not complete at this time.
