Renovations to Pain Treatment Clinic at Highlands Hospital
Remodel/ Renovation
NationView, LLC, was contracted by The University of Alabama at Birmingham to conduct interior renovations to an existing out-patient treatment clinic. Our crews constructed a new patient reception/waiting area, nine patient prep/recovery bays, a nurse station, and refurbished the interior finishes of the existing exam rooms and administration spaces. The work was performed after normal business hours during nights and weekends so that clinical operations could continue during the business day without interruption over a 10 month period.
NationView began the 6,500 square foot renovation work in shell space conditions with minor demolition in select areas, the installation of new walls and finishes, modifications to HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems, and the installation of Owner furnished equipment. During this work, NationView implemented and maintained infection control requirements, life safety measures, and installed all required barriers while coordinating facility shutdowns with the hospital and maintaining a clean and organized job site.
