Scope Of Work
Maxim Skylights was tasked with providing large insulated glass skylights that complied with extreme local building codes that offered impact and wind protection. Maxim Skylights provided our Model DGCM with Cardinal LoE366/argon gas and heat strengthened 13.6mm laminated glass with Kuraray SentryGlas. These are Miami-Dade, Florida Building Code and Texas Department of Insurance approved and meet ASTM 1886/1996, large and small missile impact resistance. These skylight are tested to +/-200 psf that will protect the structure against wind speeds of over 200mph.
Impact and thermal performance while allowing maximum light into the resort's Rondoval Suites.
