Scope Of Work
The main part of this project was replicating a historic 1920's skylight that had been crushed by a large tree. Historic Roofing replicated the skylight using copper in our shop. It was then delivered to the Newton White Mansion and placed back over the kitchen area. Repairs were made to the decorative copper ridge in our shop and re-installed. After building our scaffolding, approximately 75 slate were either repaired or replaced on the main block of the house to match existing. Repairs were also made to the built-in gutter using 16 oz. copper. Some sheathing and rafters had damage, and were also repaired.
