Scope Of Work
The three 4 story buildings along Highway 101 had stood empty for several years before Stanford decided to create a “One Stop” center for outpatient care. The clinics located there now include orthopedic surgery, sports medicine, pain management, and sleep medicine. There are complete imaging and diagnostic services and full physical therapy. Patients enter through a central lobby that links to the two clinical pavilions. Electronic kiosks near the entrance help with directions and guidance. Occupying 360,000 square feet, there are ninety-six exam rooms, eight operating rooms, three MRI, three CT, and eighteen sleeping suites. Lescure started this project as a plan and specification job, but due to document inconsistencies, finished the job as a design/build there by minimizing change orders and RFIs.
