Scope Of Work
Wagner Engineering & Survey, Inc. (WES) participated in the Metro Raymer to Bernson Project. This Double Track project will complete a continuous double track corridor along the Los Angeles San Diego San Luis Obispo Rail (LOSSAN) Corridor through Los Angeles County. This project will provide a second main line track on the Metrolink Ventura Subdivision and Amtrak’s intercity Pacific Surfliner and long distance Coast Starlight corridor for 6.4 miles of main line track. WES performed Survey, Mapping and Right-of-Way Engineering services for this project.
Existing aerial mapping, and the recovery of existing survey controls were utilized by WES to deliver a design level survey. WES performed design topographic surveys of existing railroad trackwork, facilities, roadway crossings, stations and structures. WES conducted research at the City and County of Los Angeles for centerline tie notes, corner records and records of survey. Our firm provided potholing services as needed. WES prepared Right-of-Way maps to include the existing rights-of-way, easements, acquisitions and title reports as needed.
