Scope Of Work
Perform planning, preparations and conduct multiple site surveys for the construction and installation of 12” Ø x 1015’ long HDPE (DR-11) sanitary submarine outfall pipeline and diffuser section in Solano County along the Carquinez Strait shoreline near Suisun Bay. Provide ongoing project support during 12-month long pre-construction period of review by regional, State, and Federal regulatory agencies. Develop and submit detailed construction work plan to install pipeline during daytime tidal work windows with restricted access for excavation barge equipment in water depths ranging between El. +2.5’ and El. -23.5’ (MLLW). Fusion weld a single pipeline comprised of twenty-two (22) HDPE pipe sections, conduct hydrotesting, and installation of eighty-nine (89) precast concrete ballast blocks weighing 570# apiece. Comply with USCG regulations and RWQCB water quality/turbidity monitoring constraints during floating HDPE pipeline handling, mooring, and excavation of 4-foot depth x 575-long trench within Shoreline Crossing mudflat. Provide temporary floating out-of-water storage of ±600CY for excavated materials. Conduct preliminary and post-excavation, pipeline corridor grade surveys, and depth of pipelay with back-fill surveys prior to drilling three (3) 6-inch diffuser ports near terminus end of outfall.
