Scope Of Work

General contracting services were provided for the construction of the new two-story Kostner Health Center, which provides comprehensive primary medical care and support services. The 26,000 square foot facility is located on Chicago’s west side. Building features include 21 exam rooms, a WIC nutrition education program, social services, wellness center, mock grocery store and demonstration kitchen, and three-chair dental operatory. The building also features a courtyard healing garden, skylights, and glass curtain wall to bring daylight into the waiting and program areas. The project is aiming for LEED silver certification and boasts environmentally responsible geothermal power, green roof, and energy efficient heating and cooling systems.
