Scope Of Work
Project consisted of renovating an existing office warehouse into a unique and functional office showroom creatively displaying Modern Business Interior’s furniture product line. Extensive planning and detailed coordination allowed the project to be constructed in multiple phases to maintain Modern Business Interiors’ operation.
This new showroom successfully conveys Modern Business Interiors’ own high regard for environmentally friendly materials by incorporating a number of “Green” design elements, including a bamboo flooring, linoleum flooring, natural slate, furniture panel fabrics made from recycled corn and translucent tiles made from recycled buttons.
Creation of a wide-open space was crucial to the design intent of the nature-inspired showroom. To do so, the reception area’s existing ceiling was removed and replaced with a floating woven-metal ceiling panel, exposing the large volume of the warehouse-like building structure.
