Scope Of Work
LANDCO, along with the owner and architect, lead the collaborative effort to construct the comprehensive 40,000 square-foot interior build-out located in the Timberlake Manor Building in Chesterfield. Besides the corporate boardroom, conference rooms and training center, the new office space incorporated a store mockup of Edgewell’s personal product display unit, which features brands such as Schick, Wilkinson Sword and Playtex Products. The new Edgewell logo, a hummingbird symbol in a fresh aqua blue with clean, modern lines, is prominently displayed on painted feature walls and silkscreen glass fronts throughout the space.
Through value engineering efforts, LANDCO was able to reduce the cost of glass and glazing of the office fronts by over two hundred thousand dollars by utilizing conventional glass systems in lieu of prefabricated demountable systems. Early involvement of the owner, architect and LANDCO provided time to confirm budget, which allowed us to pre-purchase long lead items to complete the space within an aggressive twelve-week schedule.
