Scope Of Work

Arrowhead was awarded a $4.3M competitive firm-fixed contract by the USACE Jacksonville District to provide complete renovation of a former Naval Weapons Training Facility for future occupancy and use by the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement Agency (ICE). Based from the new facility, ICE operations will be responsible for identifying, investigating, and dismantling vulnerabilities regarding the nation's border, economic, transportation, and infrastructure security throughout the Caribbean Region. The facility encompasses a 10K square-foot, two-story masonry structure. The contractual scope of work was divided between two primary elements of work, Renovation of Building 2804 and Site Work.

Key feature of the Renovation of Building 2804 included: Interior demolition, new MEP systems including a 25K-ton RTU, CRAC units and split units; new integrated security system and fire alarm systems including sound masking, mass notification, CCTV, access control and access monitoring; new membrane roof; blast proof exterior windows and doors; interior security doors and wall panels; flooring, ceilings and wall finishes; and new water and wastewater treatment stems. Key features of the Site Work included: Installation of a subsurface perimeter drain system; new access control point, guard shack and perimeter security fence; replace parking area asphalt; clearing a fire break outside the security fence; and repainting a 100-foot high communication tower.
