Scope Of Work
This project consisted of new construction for a 78 bed/76 unit assisted living and memory care facility. National Healthcare Corporation (NHC) was the owner and built the facility adjacent to their skilled nursing facility in Bluffton, SC. Palmettos Bluffton is a 62,000 square foot, two-story Assisted Living and one-story Memory Care Facility. The two-story structure is made from masonry and pre-cast concrete plank construction at the lower level and structural steel stud bearing walls with wood truss roof structure at the upper level and the one-story portions of the building.
Exterior finishes are a combination of fiber-cement siding, brick veneer, cultured stone and EIFS panels with EIFS decorative trim. Roofing is a combination of conventional asphalt-fiberglass roof shingles and single ply membrane roofing. Interior finishes are of conventional residential materials as appropriate for the proposed occupancy.
