Scope Of Work
Drexel University selected JMB to manage the renovation of the former Conrail Building in Philadelphia, PA. This 60,000 square foot project was completed in two phases. ?On the first phase, JMB teamed with Erdy McHenry Architecture to provide design/build services to renovate and construct the main lobby and first floor to house administrative offices, faculty/staff offices, multi-purpose rooms, shared spaces and support facilities for Drexel’s academic departments.
The second phase involved construction management services to renovate the basement and north lobby for new classrooms, workspaces, a film studio, A/V recording labs, costume storage rooms, music practice rooms, two viewing rooms with fixed seating, offices and other support facilities for Drexel’s Media Arts School.
