Scope Of Work

. DiGiacomo & Son, Inc. served as Construction Manager for a major overhaul of this New York City landmark hotel. Scope included a complete gut-renovation of over 150 rooms and suites on two floors. High end finishes, owner supplied furnishings and fixtures, and a fast-track phased scheudule proved challenging, but DiGiacomo was determined to meet the required deadlines so Hilton could re-open their floors for public use. Custom finishes, full bathrooms, high-end carpeting and wallcovering all added to the class of the final product. Phase II work included upgrading the lobby, conference rooms, exterior sidewalk and ballroom. Additional scope included: protection of lobby and exterior areas while allowing the hotel to remain in operation, hardwood floors, custom millwork, concrete and more.
