Shiel Sexton completed three retail buildouts in the Charlotte, NC, area for Verizon Wireless. The first upfit in Charlotte, at 5,200 sf. was completed in September of 2008. Shiel Sexton completed the second Charlotte buildout by teaming with architect Milligan to convert an existing 5,500 sf. restaurant into a Verizon Wireless retail shop. These stores represent the revised prototype design for Verizon’s nationwide roll-out. Each is complete with high end finish work, owner furnished fixture and point-sale-kiosks including extensive data infrastructure. Each project required approximately six weeks to complete. After successful completion of the first two projects, Verizon awarded Shiel Sexton an additional 5,000 sf. shell construction for a retail store in Spartanburg, SC. |
