Scope Of Work
The Botanical Research Institute of Texas, an international scientific research and learning center focused on conservation and knowledge sharing, needed a new home with adequate space to fulfill its mission. BRIT’s new home reflects its focus on sustainability, by reducing its environmental footprint and serving as an educational tool for the community. In addition to its innovative stormwater management system and living roof, the building’s sustainable features reduce energy and water consumption, enhance indoor environmental quality, and use recyclable and renewable materials. The facility is certified LEED platinum.
