Scope Of Work
This project consisted of widening approximately 5,000 linear feet of the existing Rancho Santa Fe Road. Extensive earthwork was required to widen the road, install and relocate sewer and water lines, and new storm drains. Portable rock crushing was performed to provide the required Class II base material that supports the new asphalt paving. New sidewalks and traffic signals were constructed. All work was performed in strict accordance with the City approved Traffic Control Plan and Storm Water Pollution Prevention Program.
This project required extensive safety procedures to deal with multiple road realignments, rock blasting, and overhead utility relocations. West Coast General Corporation designed and implemented the difficult phasing operations to insure both safe conditions and timely completion.
