Abacus’ LEED and GREEN rubberized flooring systems are designed for indoor and outdoor facilities, creating safer, ADA accessible recreational surfaces for children and athletes. GreenCircle Certified, LLC provides third-party certification of sustainable aspects of products and manufacturing operations. Abacus’ vinyl floors are the first asthma & allergy friendly™  certified sports floors by the Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America.

 We developed a new environmentally friendly resilient flooring system: Padenpor. This resilient system is comprised of a recycled rubber base mat that’s covered by multiple layers of durable urethanes – which creates a seamless athletic/multipurpose floor surface. Abacus also helped develop inlaid crash platforms for weight room floors. Inlaid platforms are now the standard in all college- and professional-level weight rooms. They eliminate safety concerns such as tripping hazards and dropped weights rolling away from the platform.
