Scope Of Work
Audi Field is the new home for the DC United team, a state-of-the art soccer stadium that hosts a variety of sporting and cultural events, community activities, and concerts. The urban facility has the capacity to hold 20,000 fans and features 31 luxury suites, bike valet, and 500,000 total square feet of mixed-use retail and residential space on site, making it a year-round destination for fans and DC residents alike.
?Fort Myer was responsible for constructing all the streetscape located around the public space of the stadium. This work includes installing bio-retention cells, tree pits, under-drain storm sewer inlets & pipe, trench drains, granite curb & brick gutter, concrete curb & gutter, concrete & asphalt roadway, mill & overlay, line striping & pavement markings including bike lane painting, exposed aggregate sidewalk, concrete sidewalk, paver sidewalk, cobblestone sidewalk, along with the installation of sidewalk benches, trash cans and bike racks.
