Scope Of Work

Mount Sinai Hospital in New York, NY is one of the largest and best-known hospitals in the country. Chartered in 1852, it has nearly 1200 beds and was the first facility to describe many diseases, including Crohn's Disease and Tay-Sachs Disease. Doctors at Mount Sinai were also the first to link cigarettes and asbestos to cancer; the first in the US to employ kidney dialysis as a treatment; the first to write a textbook on thoracic surgery; and much more. VSA has signed a multi-year contract to provide Category 1 and 5 test witnessing and modernization and maintenance monitoring for Mount Sinai Hospital's 118 elevators through 2020, with maintenance to be performed by Otis Elevator.
