Alicia Bandala's Bio
Alicia Bandala is the managing director for KONE México. In this role, she is fully responsible for frontline operations in KONE México and distributor operations in Latin America. She has also successfully realigned the company strategy and made organizational changes in management teams, district teams, safety, quality, and service, as to capture and grow the existing market. With over 20 years of experience, her successes make her a leader in sales, service, and business development.
Prior to joining KONE in 2010, Alicia was the new business director for Johnson Controls México, where she was responsible for the systems business of new construction, developing the systems strategy to increase business profitability.
Earlier in her career with Johnson Controls, Alicia held the position of national service manager. In this role, she interacted with both internal and external customers, and executed improvements in customer management to better meet customer needs and employee engagement.
Alicia began her career as a design engineer for Phillips Lighting and as the commerce and service account leader for FIDE (AP).
Alicia received her degree in Electronic Engineering from La Salle University in México and a post grad degree in management from IPADE (AP).
Jeff Blum's Bio
Jeff Blum is the senior vice president of the west region for KONE Americas. In this role, he is responsible for safety, customer loyalty, employee engagement, quality and the overall positive development of the new equipment, modernization and service businesses for approximately 12 states. With more than 20 years of industry experience, Jeff has proven himself as a dynamic, customer-driven leader through a series of progressive profit and loss, as well as functional roles within KONE. Jeff has deep experience in understanding and serving customers in commercial real estate development, construction and facility management.
Previously, Jeff was the senior vice president of business development for KONE Americas. While in this position, he concentrated on assuring customer satisfaction and profitable growth across all business lines in the U.S., Canada, and Latin America. Jeff’s responsibilities included marketing, solution and services development, sales strategy, major projects and strategic accounts.
In 2006, Jeff became vice president of new equipment for the west region of KONE Americas, leading safety, customer satisfaction and profitable growth for the new equipment business line.
Earlier in his career, Jeff held numerous leadership positions within KONE, including director of service for the pacific southwest region, branch manager for the northern California branch, and the global marketing manager - escalators, where he gained experience in global marketing and product development. Jeff began his career in new equipment sales in the company’s west region.
Jeff received his bachelor’s degree in business from Indiana University, and holds his master’s in business administration from Northwestern University Kellogg School of Management.
Larry Wash's Bio
Larry Wash is Executive Vice President for KONE Americas and serves as a member of KONE’s Executive Board. In this role, he leads a $2 billion business that includes teams across the United States, Canada and Latin America. Larry also serves as Board President for the National Elevator Industry, Inc., a preeminent trade association for the building transportation industry.
As a senior executive with extensive experience running global organizations and a well-respected thought leader, Larry is skilled at developing strategic direction and at implementing operational improvements to profitably grow businesses.
Prior to joining KONE, Larry was President of Global Services for the Climate Solutions sector of Ingersoll Rand with full responsibility for the management of their services businesses. While in this position, he developed C-level executive relationships, and led Hussman, Thermo King, and Trane in driving growth in both emerging and mature markets.
Before joining Ingersoll Rand, Larry served as Vice President of Service & Contracting for Trane, where he led the services businesses in Canada, Latin America and the United States and created the strategic and operational plans for Trane Building Services. Ingersoll Rand acquired Trane in 2008.
Earlier in his career, Larry held the position of Vice President of Global Services for Xerox Corporation, responsible for worldwide strategy, business development, marketing, sales and operations. Larry began his career in 1985 with Eastman Kodak Company, where he was Director of New Business Development.
Larry received his bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Wayne State University and a master’s degree in electrical engineering from the Rochester Institute of Technology. Larry also holds a master’s in business administration from Stanford University.
Ron Bagwill's Bio
Ron Bagwill is the vice president for supply operations for KONE Americas. In this role, he is responsible for implementing processes to enhance operational performance and improve full-chain competitiveness to meet market demands across the United States, Canada, and Mexico. With over 20 years of industry and management experience, Ron also focuses on improving quality, productivity and safety and strengthening manufacturing and supply operations.
Ron received his degree in computer science from the University of Texas at Dallas.
