Scope Of Work
CE provided Engineering Services for the permitting and installation of a Proton H6 Hydrogen Generator and associated equipment including a 10-ton chiller and hydrogen storage tank at IMTEC Acculine in Fremont, CA.
Activities included:
Performing equipment layout for the hydrogen generator, chiller, condenser on the roof, and hydrogen storage tank, which were replacing three multi-pack hydrogen cannisters.
Providing seismic/structural calculations and anchoring design and determining if the existing concrete foundation needed any modifications for the 11,000 lb. hydrogen tank
Reviewed code requirements for separation needs and provided a piping plan for utility connections and hydrogen lines.
Provided electrical plans and alarm/sensor modification plans.
