Scope Of Work

When Nab rehabilitated the West Trestle Spans and the West Approach Pavement of the Tappan Zee Bridge, we worked on the bridge deck at night and kept all lanes of traffic open every day. Three crucial project components contributed to our meeting this schedule: we did daytime preparatory work from platforms suspended from the underside of the bridge; the owner specified precast Inverset deck panels, which support traffic immediately upon placement; and we used a straddle crane, typically found in boatyards, to remove and replace the deck panels.
