Scope Of Work

For New York City’s most celebrated preservation effort, Nab was selected to replace the Statue of Liberty’s internal armature, a network of 1,800 curved and twisted bars that support the skin and are connected to the interior tower. Additionally, the team was responsible for restoring the Statue’s copper exterior; removing the old torch and installing a new one; fabricating a portion of the staircase located in the crown; and performing structural work in the Statue’s pedestal and museum.
