Scope Of Work
The new three-story 115,000 square feet Central Middle School building is a structural steel frame with exterior metal studs and brick veneer. It is constructed under the MA Energy code and was awarded LEED Gold certification in 2015. The facility includes a 450 seat performing arts auditorium and a full size gymnasium.Cost: $31 million

The new home for 1,100 students has a reminder of the old school with the existing portico granite surround reinstalled at the interior portico entrance to the new auditorium
Additional features of this new model school also included a prominent rotunda with a two story media center library, a grand stairway, and a large two story reception vestibule at the main entrance
